Design & Innovation:
Kids learn best when they are doing
One of the many things that makes Seven Peaks School unique is flexibility. As an independent school, we are able to explore progressive ways of teaching and learning without the limitations of standardized testing. One thing we see everyday is that kids learn best by tinkering, making, creating, designing, innovating and hands-on activities. Our Celebration of Innovation has been a huge success and now we’re ready to take the next step by bringing design & innovation opportunities to all of our students.
Design & Innovation Lab coming to Seven Peaks
Our team has been researching some of the most innovative teaching practices in the nation. We’ve visited other schools to learn best practices. Thanks to your support and funds from the Annual Giving Campaign and our upcoming Annual Fundraising Gala and Auction Paddle Raising opportunity, in Spring of 2017, our library will be transformed into a Design and Innovation Lab. The lab will be equipped with a multi-media center, 3-Dimensional equipment, and innovative technology and software to inspire and engage our students at all grade levels. We are looking forward to sharing the vision for our Design & Innovation Lab with you at Re-Enrollment Night on Tuesday, February 7 from 6:30 to 8 pm. We know you’ll be as inspired as we are!
Thank you all for your on-going support and partnership to create a unique and powerful learning environment for our kids. We’ll see you on February 7th.
