Junior Kindergarten

THE PEAK OF DISCOVERY

Junior Kindergarten is an emergent program for children who are almost of Kindergarten age. It is intended for students who are 4.5 to 5.5 and have turned 4 years old by May 1st.

Using Core Knowledge as our guide, we’ve designed our Junior Kindergarten class to help children get the best start possible. Our small class sizes and nurturing environment build knowledge, encourage discovery and make learning fun.

In Junior Kindergarten, we emphasize hands-on learning, active involvement and social interaction to allow children to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally. Junior kindergarten builds skills in a fun and exciting learning environment to give children the tools they need for a successful transition into Kindergarten. Our program teaches children they can achieve almost anything when they reach higher.

The Junior Kindergarten class is made up of 18 students with a certified teacher and an instructional aid. With special classes including Music, Art, Spanish and PE, children get to explore the full range of learning opportunities that Seven Peaks has to offer.
