In Pre-Kindergarten we have been studying all about the Arctic and Antarctic habitats and what the animals who live there need to survive. One of our favorite lessons was Ice Painting where the students had to imagine what it would be like to be an animal from the south pole living on a sheet of ice and snow. Our little scientists asked questions, made predictions and gathered information to help them determine what life would be like to live as various arctic animals. The kids were so excited to share what they had learned with one another so we took some extra special sharing time from our science notebooks!
Fall has been a fun and active time in PE for Pre-Kindergarten. We have been experimenting and practicing skills with many different types of equipment. Our classes have been focused on moving safely in open space and working on hand eye coordination.
